Recipe: Green Monster Shake

A post workout shake is essential for refuelling your body and gaining maximum results. This smoothie will help kickstart your metabolism and give your body the nutrients it needs. It’s quick and easy to make:

Green Monster Smoothie: 

3 cups frozen white grapes

2 packed cups baby spinach

1 cup packed raw kale

1 ½ cups strong brewed green tea, cooled

1 medium, ripe avocado

1 cup diced cucumber

1 green apple

2 teaspoons honey

Toss these lean and green ingredients into a food processor and pulse until well blended. If the mixture is too thick, add more green tea to get the desired consistency. Pour into your favourite shake cup and enjoy!
